About midsummer I made the trip back to Nevada with my dad to see my brother. As part of the trip we decided to road trip to San Francisco. I was extremely excited for this, as I was born just outside of San Fran and lived there until I was 2. I had never been back, so for me it was going back to my roots.

We started off by visiting Muir Woods National Monument to see the Redwoods. I loved every second of it! Theres just something so humbling about being surrounded by such ancient trees.

We ended the day at the Fisherman’s Wharf before making the 4 hour drive back to Reno. All in all it was a wonderful day and I can’t wait to go back and experience San Fran again!
