My name is Lindsey and I'm a traveler and photographer based in the PNW.
With both of my parents working for the airlines my love of travel was inevitable. I was only 6 weeks old on my first flight, and my first parentless trip (with many flight attendants and my older brother watching me) was at the tender age of 5. My true love affair began in 2005 when I went on a tour of Italy with my high school choir. I immediately caught the bug. Since then I have been to 21 countries (& counting), stepped foot on six of the seven continents, and gained a deeper appreciation for the world.
My love of photography also grew from a young age. Growing up my mom constantly had a camera in hand and it wasn't long until I followed in her footsteps. I got my first DSLR in high school and promptly dubbed him Melvin.
I started this blog in 2010 when I studied abroad in Rome, Italy as a way to keep my family and friends up to date on my life. I kept it up here and there through internships, random ramblings, and travels until about 2013 when I graduated college. If your interested you can read those gems here. Since then, I got my first real adult job in Minnesota and did that for 2 years before moving across the country to work in Oregon. I'm now based in a small town outside of Hood River, Oregon and I love it. I decided to resurrect this blog as an easy way to send recommendations to friends and family traveling, but to also share bits and pieces of my life along the way.
